Useful properties of linseed oil were known to people from time immemorial. It was widely used in Ancient Egypt in cosmetology; inhabitants of old Colchis considered it irreplaceable in treatment of burns. Linseed oil surpasses products of a usual diet in the content of unsaturated fat acids and only 1-2 tablespoons satisfy daily need for them.
